Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using URL (“the Site”) operated by ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY PTE LTD (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at URL.

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY PTE LTD and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

TERMINATION

We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY PTE LTD.

ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY PTE LTD has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

 Once payment details are released, the terms of the invoice have to be met and payment must be made before course confirmation is issued.

PUNCTUALITY

Participants who are more than 45 minutes late will be considered absent for that session. Latecomers are welcome to participate in the remaining session, but attendance will not be recorded for that session. There will be no refund for any missed sessions. Participants are required to achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for the entire course to be awarded the certificate of attendance.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, NO-SHOW POLICY

The participant is required to request for any rescheduling or cancellation in writing. The grace period for any cancellations or rescheduling is at least 15 working days prior to the date of course commencement. Course fees for any cancellations or rescheduling made before the grace period will be fully refundable with a deduction of an administration fee. There will be no refund if the participant cancels or reschedules less than 15 days from the course date. There will also be no refund if the participant does not turn up for the course for whatsoever reason, including illness. There will be no refunds for participants who failed the assessment of the course they attended.

CANCELLATION BY ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY PTE LTD

In the unforeseen event that the course has to be cancelled, a full refund or a full transfer of course fees to alternative course dates will be offered. There will be a minimum of one-week notice given for any course cancellation. Participants are recommended to book fully refundable travel & accommodation for your course. Allied Health Academy accepts no liability for non-refundable costs in the event of course cancellation. Allied Health Academy reserves the rights to replace any advertised course tutor in the event of illness or other unforeseen circumstances to allow the course to continue as planned.

REFUND PROCESS

Refunds will be made via electronic bank transfer. Refunds will be subjected to transaction fees and administration fees which may vary, depending on the payment method.  

Refund Administration Fee:  from $100
Certificate Reprint Charge: $15 per certificate

TRANSFER POLICY

Participants are allowed to transfer the course attendance to another attendee, but it has to be informed in writing to Allied Health Academy at least 48 hours before the course commencement date.

MEDIA RIGHTS

By registering for courses or workshops held by or conducted by Allied Health Academy, you hereby grant the company and its assigned photographers the irrevocable right to use any photos, videos or forms of media taken of you, or that which includes you, in whole or in part in any media now or hereafter known. Such media can include, but is not restricted and limited to, electronic direct mails (EDMs), marketing collaterals, print advertisements, posters, illustrations, advertising and social media platforms. You hereby release and discharge all assigned photographers from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy.

SKILLSFUTURE GRANT

SkillsFuture Grant, where available for selected courses, are only applicable for Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents aged 21 or older. The Grant allows claiming of up to 70% of the course fees, subject to approval from SkillsFuture Singapore Agency. Allied Health Academy reserve the right to retract the Grant from any participant who do not meet the criteria for grant application.

CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
