Blake Withers is sports podiatrist working within a specialty Sports Medicine Clinic in addition to lecturing and teaching in Biomechanics, Orthosis, Footwear and Sports Podiatry in Newcastle, Australia.
Blake is an Australian Sports Podiatrist based in a specialized Sports Medicine Clinic, collaborating with esteemed Sports Doctors and Physicians. He also lectures in biomechanics and is an educator at the University of Newcastle. Blake co-hosts the ‘Sports Medicine Project’ podcast with Kelly (Physiotherapist), dedicated to enhancing health professionals’ clinical understanding by conversing with experts in the Sports Medicine Field.
Internationally, Blake has presented on ‘The Foot and Ankle’ and within Australia, he has engaged with Sports Medicine Australia, with a focus on running injuries. He has also published postgraduate work in the Journal of Sport Science, delving into footwear fitting and its influence on runners’ injuries.
Blake’s passion for education extends to both in-person and online courses for clinicians. He endeavors to connect, educate, and elevate the health community through teaching, social media, the podcast, and presentations.
