Introduction
The spinal column acts as a container for the spinal cord and visceral structures. It also provides a platform for the attachment of peripheral joints and muscles. Hence, the knowledge in understanding the spinal column connections is vital for treating associated neuro musculoskeletal symptoms. This 2 days practical based workshop will examine the manual therapy assessment and treatment of these connections.
Aims
This course aims to understand the anatomical connections of the spinal column to the peripheral joints/muscles system, develop sound clinical reasoning for the use of spinal articular therapy and the techniques.

Target Audience
This course is aimed for physiotherapists. Other interested professionals such as medical doctors, chiropractors or osteopaths who are interested in this subject are welcome to join.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Apply advanced manual therapy approach to spinal disorders, discal and/or dural biased pain disorders
- Gain knowledge in full lumbar spine assessment and apply treatment techniques
- Gain knowledge in cervical and thoracic spine to interpret clinical information
