Introduction

BARE® is the only barefoot balance training workout that uniquely integrates proprioception, interoception, breath, brain function, and body tension. Developed by functional podiatrist and human movement specialist Dr. Emily Splichal, this program provides the foundational principles for designing a barefoot balance workout, including progressions that challenge dynamic stabilization, foot and gluteal strength, and cardiovascular endurance.

BARE® is powered by Naboso Technology—a specialized small-nerve proprioceptive mat designed to enhance sensory stimulation and neuro-activation from the ground up.

Why BARE® Matters

Traditional exercise often overlooks the critical link between sensory input from the feet and whole-body movement. By targeting the small nerve fibers responsible for balance and postural control, BARE® addresses the root cause of many movement dysfunctions. This makes it an essential tool for restoring foundational stability, preventing injury, and improving neuromuscular efficiency.

Rebuilding Movement from the Ground Up with BARE®

BARE® offers a clinically relevant, evidence-based framework to enhance patient outcomes. It provides a structured approach to:

  • Rehabilitate foot function by directly stimulating the plantar sensory receptors that influence gait and alignment.
  • Improve patient engagement through a progressive, skill-based workout that bridges the gap between clinical treatment and functional movement.
  • Address root causes of chronic issues such as ankle instability, plantar fasciitis, and lower kinetic chain dysfunction by rebuilding sensory-motor control.
  • Differentiate clinical practice with a proprietary, science-backed modality that complements traditional manual therapy and exercise prescription.

By incorporating BARE®, practitioners can offer a unique, results-driven solution that empowers patients to build lasting stability from the ground up.

Target Audience

Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, and Podiatrists who want to incorporate BARE® in their clinical practice.
