Maureen N Aleste

Maureen N Aleste completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2002 and has been working as a physiotherapist in Singapore since 2004. She specialises in Women’s Health and has keen interest in lymphoedema management and sexual health dysfunction. She spent most of her physiotherapy career at KKH for about 13 years, managing a variety of conditions affecting women and children including pre and post-operative physiotherapy. After being certified a Lymphoedema Therapist, she has worked with gynae and breast oncology patients who developed lymphoedema, axillary web cording and impaired shoulder following surgery.

She has extensive knowledge and experience in managing women with pelvic floor dysfunction and was part of the Sexual health clinic team and became a member of the European Sexual School of Medicine. She was also appointed as a clinical educator to Singapore Institute of Technology physiotherapy students in 2019.
